Spanish Garlic Shrimp, cooked in olive oil, made spicy hot with red pepper flakes, makes a nice tapa.

Ingredients

1/3cup olive oil
4 garlic cloves, chopped
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 lb. shrimp, unshelled
2 teaspoons  sweet paprika
¼ cup medium-dry sherry
¼ cup fresh parsley, minced
to taste fresh lemon juice
  black pepper
  salt

Preparation

  • First of all, take the oil and heat it in large size heavy frying pan over moderate high temperature till hot. 
  • Take the garlic and add it and cook, mixing, till color is changed to pale golden. 
  • Take the red pepper flakes, shrimp and add them and cook, mixing, for 1 min. or till shrimp become pink in color.
  • Use paprika as sprinkle over the shrimp and cook, mixing, for half min. 
  • Take sherry, and add it and boil mixture for half min. use parsley as sprinkle. 
  • Use lemon juice, salt as well as pepper for seasoning the mixture then shift to bowl.
