Thailand, Kanchanaburi province

Traveling Northwest of Bangkok, one can visit the Thai province of Kanchanaburi which borders the state of Myanmar (previously Burma). The key tourist attractions of the Kanchanaburi province are: the Bridge on the River Kwai, made famous by the 1957 movie which won 7 Oscars, the Jungle Rafts floating hotel on the river Kwai with no electricity and kerosene lamps only, and the Erwan National Park with a beautiful 7 steps waterfall.
